antagonisms between conservative, xenophobic native farmers and non-conformist,
idealistic neo-ruralists in an era marked by an identitarian shift. It also paints the
portrait of Rodrygo Sorogoyen, leading figure in the young generation of Spanish
cinema and an expert in genre films, who continues to produce a hard-hitting works
of social criticism.
